"He's still just a boy, Loukian." The woman said firmly, staring at the large, cloaked person who stood before her in the living room of the small home. She appeared to be looking him or her in the eyes very strongly, but little Bash couldn't make out who it was, it's face hidden by the shadow the cloak cast over him. "I will not put my son in that kind of danger. I will not." Her words came after the man said something that just sounded like gibberish to the little boy eaves dropping from the top of the staircase. He spoke again and whatever he stated this time seemed to make his mother much angrier. "How dare you!?" she snapped, taking a couple of steps closer to the man who was quite a lot bigger than she was. "Get out of my house! Get out of my house right now and don't you ever, ever come around me or my child ever again! He doesn't need to be involved in any of this. He is not who you seem to think he is. Find another." she hissed at him, continuing forward as the man took a few steps back. He was clearly backing off, but his stance did not change. He was not afraid. He glanced up the stairs when he got to the space between the bottom step and the doorway that led outside. Bash could feel his eyes settling on him intently despite not being able to see them. The child froze for a moment before he quickly got up and ran off to his bedroom. He jumped onto his bed and quickly pulled the blankets over his head. It wasn't long before he smelled something a little funny. He pulled the blankets off, realizing his pajamas and bedroom were now just slightly different. The rain that had been pelting his window was gone and a bit of moonlight shown through the crack between the curtains. He pushed the blankets off completely and swung his legs over the edge, walking to his bedroom door. The smell only got stronger and when he pulled open his door he was overwhelmed with a burst of smoke. He began coughing. "Mama!" he managed to call out, just as a part of the roof down the hall fell in, strengthening the fire in that area. Bash stared, eyes wide with fear before he finally turned and ran down the stairs and out the front door, coughing a gasping for the clean nighttime air to fill his lungs. When he finally managed to look up and around he noticed the man in the cloak, though as soon as Bash saw him he slipped into the shadows of the night. The world around him changed. The sky brightened, the house disappeared and was replaced by a playground where little Pascal was standing atop the structure, yelling for his big brother to come and join him. Bash instinctively went to him, giggling and shaking his head as Pascal dared him to climb up and get him. He grabbed a hold of the ladder to do just that, yelping when he felt something sharp go into his hand. He pulled it away and looked at it, frowning at the blood that began to come from the wound. As he was examining it, Pascal had come down the slide and run over, frowning. Bash shifted his gaze up to look at him, but noticed the cloaked man standing just a bit away from them, though the daylight allowed Bash to see the wicked smirk on his face. It invoked such an awful feeling into the child.
Such fear that remained even as Bash jolted awake, looking around the small bedroom. He was covered in sweat and his blankets were just all over the place. He reached a hand up as he clenched his teeth, placing it against his aching head. He didn't have much time to think about anything as he felt that dreadful feeling of something flowing up from his stomach. He leaned over the edge of the bed where his garbage bin was, puking without much chance of even trying to hold it back. When he was done he sat up, tears falling down his extremely pale face. He hugged his knees to his chest and buried his face against them, crying. After a while he managed to get up and pull on some clothes for work, even if they weren't as nice and neat as they normally were. He made his way to the school and to his and Judas' office, moving inside and plopping down at his desk tiredly. He was there quite a bit earlier than normal, managing to get there before Judas for once. He pulled out some papers to start going over, but it wasn't long before he just laid his pounding head down on his arms on the desk, trying to relax a bit, tangling his fingers in his messy hair. Judas was never the late sort. He'd maybe been late to his office once since he hired Bash. Normally he was even early, but today he'd been caught in the hall with a student who had a ton of questions for his final exams. This left Judas cranky to start his day, and well, that just made him crankier than he was to start with. The man was looking forward to a moment alone in his office to gather his thoughts for the day. It wasn't a big day honestly. There weren't a lot of things planned. Hopefully he could have some time. The middle aged peacekeeper was expecting an empty office when he put in his code and pulled the door open. Sadly for his plans, there was somebody there.
"Hey. You're early." Judas commented as he closed the door behind him. At first he didn't notice clearly how miserable Bash was. Judas stopped, setting his papers down on the desk near Bash' head, reaching his now free hand to rub the young man's shoulders. "A bit to drink again last night? You really should stop getting yourself this sick." He commented. Judas personally wasn't much of a drinker even now. He hadn't been drinking heavily since. And the riot he had been so worried about getting fired over had actually had gotten him a raise and rank promotion. He chose to stay at the Academy as his base, but had more district responsibilities. He moved around the desk, quietly sitting down at his desk. It didn't take long before he went to searching a drawer, pulling out a bottle of some strong medicine that might help. He kept some now, in case the young man came in with a hangover.
"Take some of that Bash. Should help your head." He commented. As far as Judas knew anyways, it was another hangover. He had some actual concern for the young man, but also knew he wasn't that useful if he was this sick. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Bash was nearly asleep when Judas entered the office and mentioned his being early. If wasn't enough for him to speak up right away. it wasn't until he felt the stack of papers get set down near his head and Judas gentle hand rubbing his shoulders that he finally looked up with the saddest look in his eyes. Poor kid was still as white as a ghost. "I didn't actually have a drop to drink last night." He said so quietly and truthfully. "Juju...don't stop." He whimpered a bit when he stopped rubbing his shoulders and went to sit down at his desk instead. His stomach was churning and his head pounding, but he was more freaked out and confused by the dreams.
He took the bottle and opened it, popping one in his mouth before just swallowing. He put his hand up to his mouth at first, closing his eyes tightly as he just tried to hold it back. After he successfully managed to keep it down he looked back to Judas again. "Have you ever had a nightmare...that you know has actually already happened to you?" He asked quietly. He almost assumed it to have because of the whole riot thing, but he wasn't entirely sure. He needed to talk about it though and well...Juju was the only knew there.

Judas was only slightly concerned when Bash didn't look up. He knew enough about hangovers that maybe the young man just didn't want to talk. This early in the morning he would let it go, since when they got to working later. Still the small fatherly part of him had him attempting to give comfort. And it seemed to connect, as the boy looked up. The face wasn't that of the confident and bold man that Bash normally was. Even in his hangovers he still had that confidence. He looked more like a sad little boy this time, and Judas frowned at his response. "No drinking? you only ever do this after you've been drinking." He commented skeptically at that. But the tone, the look, and his request softened the look on the white haired man's features. "If you didnt drink what is it...?" He asked, reaching after a moment to return to rubbing his back again. Goodness if this had been any other person...
The peacekeeper watched him try to take the pill. He kept quiet though, patting his shoulder gently and hoping for him to manage to keep it down. Partly just because he didn't want to deal with the other man puking in his office. This time he wouldn't be joining him because he was drunk, but he didn't handle puke. His frown grew at the question, mixed with confusion as he considered his answer. "Well I... after that riot there were some... bad nights." He admitted and returned to rubbing his shoulder. "But why Bash? What nightmare did you have thst has you this sick..?" He asked, concerned for sure. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

It didn't surprise Bash that Judas didn't believe that he hadn't been drinking. While he had settled down quite a bit since graduating and getting his job, he still occasionally drank and came in miserable. Last night he had felt exhausted and had simply gone to bed. "I swear I didn't drink. I woke up from an awful dream with this ridiculous migraine and I threw up as soon as I woke up. It wasn't hangover like." He said quietly. He had a lot more control over the puking from hangovers. He had no control this morning. He closed his eyes and tangled his fingers in his hair again, just enjoying the back rub as much as he could. He hadn't expected Judas to respond to his whine about it. He took a breath and was silent for a moment, thinking before he finally looked up again. "I think someone killed my mother. I don't think the fire was an accident. I think the guy who did it has been following me..." he said quietly. "So many times I feel like I am being watched and followed..." he continued. "You aren't going to puke on me, are you?" Judas moved his hand off of Bash' shoulder and sat up enough to quickly move away if he were about to. But after a moment he reached and rubbed his shoulder a bit again. He couldn't be that grossed out before it happened. And the boy just looked so miserable. "It was that bad of a dream? I've had nightmares and stuff but nothing that made me wake up puking..." He commented. He hadn't really heard of that. Or at least believed it for that matter. Whiny students trying to get out of things and all. But Bash wasn't that type. He was strong and tough and had an ego that didn't really let him play sick off of something like a nightmare. Judas was inclined to believe him right off on that.
He rubbed his back still, though looked horribly confused at that jump. "You got all that from a nightmare?" He asked, concerned. That was a big realization. "I found about the fire in your file but... there weren't any signs it was intentional. Why'd you think it is suddenly now?" He frowned a bit. Though the idea peaked his interest. Training was great and all, but he missed being out of the Academy and doing things. Doing things without getting beat to heck in a riot. He watched Bash, concerned and intrigued as well. "Why haven't you told me you felt followed?" He asked. There was potential that if someone was following it could be an issue for the Peacekeepers as well. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Bash sighed and shook his head a bit. "I am not going to puke on you." He told him, though he didn't make any promises since he honestly wasn't sure he would be able to keep it. "I managed to make it in the waste basket this morning instead of just throwing up all over myself..." he said, hoping Judas got that he felt he could handle it enough to not just let it happen. "I don't know if the nightmare caused the sick or the sick caused the nightmares...It isn't the first time this has happened." He admitted.
"They are more than just dreams. They are nightmares of memories that I actually have. Each of them included this guy...he always wore a cloak and he was always around. Always. Even the night of the fire." He be winced at the thought of the pleased smirk on his face he had seen that night. "I just...I don't know. Before it just seemed silly and not worth it, plus...I never actually see him anymore. Before I always caught glimpses. " he said quietly. He didn't feel the others were in danger. Whatever the guy wanted had to do with him.

"Good. Good. Because if you did you'd be buying me a new uniform." Judas warned, although lightheartedly. He'd be grossed out sure, but angry? Probably not. He'd figured out Sebastien enough to understand and respect the young man. He wasn't a punk kid, and he wasn't an annoying little jerk either. When it came to it, Bash did his job. And for that he got to see the more human side of Judas a bit more often. "I trust that. And you know where the trash bin is in here." He reminded him motioning that way. "Not the first time you've been sick from a nightmare? Sounds like a problem to me." He muttered, glancing around the room for a moment and listening some. He didn't interrupt, just listened.
His look remained skeptical though. "So you think a cloaked man killed your mother, and is following you around?" It sounded a bit nuts to him and he wondered if the boy didn't remember drinking the night before, or if his friends had played a prank and slipped him something he didn't know of. It sounded like some made up creepy thing to keep children behaving. "I think people would notice a cloaked man wandering around the district, don't you think?" He added, watching Sebastien for a moment longer. He seemed serious though. Truly upset over it. To a point where Judas couldn't just ignore the issue. "Well next time you feel followed, you should probably tell me. But..." He sighed and looked toward the ceiling. "So this guy is following you and possibly caused your mother's death, what do you want to do about it?" words// 278 tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes//

Bash gave a tiny smile toward Judas, but he just couldn't manage his typical teasing personality. "I won't throw up on you. I won't." he said, honestly sounding more determined to just not do it at all. He couldn't deal with that. Doing it once this morning was bad enough. Doing it again and having Judas upset with him would only make everything worse. He took a breath and looked down. "The thing is...I have had other nightmares. Nightmares of things that have never happened to me. You know, the typical...lost in a forest, being chased by a creepy clown, forgot to put pants on nightmares. These ones feel different. They feel worse." Bash explained, shaking his head.
"And that is the thing. These nightmares...they are memories from when I was a child. I've actually seen this man...I heard my own mother speak his name." Sebastien explained, but he didn't actually say the man's name. There was just a certain fear that he could feel creeping through him just at the thought of saying it. "He was at my house just a couple nights before the fire and my mom was angry with him..." he whispered, shaking his head. "I have never seen her so angry..." He frowned as he thought back to that night, briefly getting lost in that thought. Once he snapped out of it he looked to Judas again. "Anytime anything bad has ever happened to me he has been there and he scares the hell out of me." he admitted. Bash wasn't scared easy. The kid had enough balls to stand up to Snow if it came down to it. "I feel like I am being watched all the time and I don't know what to do about it....I don't know." he looked down with a frown, rubbing at his side a bit.

Judas simply nodded at that. He would at least hope to believe that the young man would keep that word. He knew nobody really wanted to puke. At least no sane person, which excused the idiots of the Capitol who made themselves sick on a nightly basis. "Well I haven't had those nightmares. But I suppose I know what you mean." He admitted, watching Sebastien as he tried to still read him further. Where this would end up, other than Bash laying his head down on the desk and trying not to puke. Judas wasn't willing to admit some of his dumb nightmares. Something about telling Bash about his dreams seemed... like inviting trouble. Telling him his fear of wandering into the president's office by accident, sometimes undressed, and the idiotic things his dream self did around President Snow... he wasn't willing to share. But Snow and death were just about his only fears.
"From when you are a child... Are you sure your little child imagination didn't make this image for you?" Judas asked, looking toward him. He didn't want to sound mean or not believing him, but he wanted to consider all of the possibilities. The cloaked man sounded odd to Judas. He shook his head at Sebastien and gently patted his shoulder. "Bash. Nightmares add weird things to the story." He reminded him, his look softening though as he realized just how fearful the young man was. He leaned on the desk, looking him in the eyes. "If it's that serious, where even the most confident student I have ever had is scared, then maybe it is something." He admitted after thinking just a bit. He was skeptical of his own skepticism the more he thought about the look he saw.
"Maybe we need to figure out who it is." He commented, moving the other papers away as he leaned on the desk. The rest could be dealt with later. words// 326 tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes//

Sebastien sighed softly. "I just meant that nightmares are usually silly fears your mind creates. Things that never have or will happen." he said, shaking his head. These were things that he knew had happened. He knew they had. He knew that his mind wasn't just adding more to the story than was there to begin with. Deep down he knew it. "He wanted me, Judas. The night that he came to visit my mother. When my mother got pissed at him. He came for me." he shook his head. "I remember that night so clearly..." he looked up, his eyes locked on Judas. "He's still just a boy, Loukian. I will not put my son in that kind of danger. I will not." he spewed some of the things his mother had said to the cloaked man.
He broke the eye contact and looked down. "I am scared to death, Judas. This is going to sound completely crazy, but I feel like he is getting closer to me." he took a breath. "I feel like something was keeping him away before and now he is suddenly coming after me again. These nightmares stopped for a while." He explained. They had been replaced with even crazier, vivid dreams that Bash wasn't willing to share with Judas because they just seemed so ridiculously insane even to him. "I don't know how to find out anything about him. I just know his name...or what they call him. Loukian was what my mom called him. I have never even seen more than that wicked smirk..." he said, just the thought of it making him shudder. "I don't even know where to start."
He shifted uncomfortably though, wincing a bit as he clutched his side. The pain was enough to make his breath catch and he made a sad little squeaky noise. "Damn it..." he groaned through clenched teeth. "It feels like a hot knife stabbing into me." he moved to try and stand up, but instead ended up on the floor on his hands and knees. He kind of let out a cry, putting his head to the floor as he rocked back and forth a bit.

"Okay. Well..." Judas shrugged a bit at the first part. He got what he meant. If he thought things were already weird... He sighed some, holding the boy's gaze as he listened. It didn't make sense to Judas, he couldn't make the connections of why some freak would want a little child. Judas was only getting one at this point because of a drunk promise. "And they didn't say why he wanted you?" He tried to get the information, but he couldn't even decide what to say or believe. He wasn't the superstitious type, or the paranoid type, or even the kind of person who went with every story he was told. "Bash. This just... I don't know." He didn't even know what to say to the other man. And Judas was never really the type who got speechless. "So his name was Loukian?" He added, finally able to pick at least one fact that seemed clear.
He moved to get up, needing to think a bit more. This wasn't what he was expecting for his day when he got up this morning. "I can't explain it to you. I don't know what is going on... but if you're feeling that way. That it's that important, that scary, then we will figure it out." He said, moving around the desk quietly. He hadn't had anything that really confused him in quite some time. He shrugged and fidgeted through a drawer to just occupy his hands for a moment. "Well a name is better than nothing to start. So we know he's creepy, he knew your mom, he had a need for little boys, and he has at least a nickname." He started, but frowned when he looked up and heard Bash.
"Bash... what?" He stopped, dropping what was in his hands as the boy went down. "Sebastien.." He came around, kneeling beside him with his hand on his back. "Sebastien we should get you home." He started. words// 328 tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes//

Sebastien had given a simple nod at the question about his name. It was definitely Loukian. He had a feeling it wasn't the guy's real name, but what did he know? He knew that the guy hadn't shown any fear that night his mother had started screaming at him and threatening him. He didn't quite strike Bash as the type to be that fearful of anybody. "I don't think he was a pedophile, but that is what you make him sound like." he commented quietly, shaking his head a bit. The fact that he had spoken to his mother about it made that incredibly unlikely. That's not how those messed up creeps worked. No...this was different.
His whole body was shaking from the pain that didn't seem to want to subside. He couldn't get himself to sit up at all for the longest time. He finally managed to gather enough strength to though, but as he did he immediately leaned against Judas. He acted like he wanted to speak, but he couldn't make it work. Instead he just moved to get up after giving a nod of agreement when Judas said he should go back to his room, using Judas to help him as much as possible. Walking was slow and difficult, but he some how managed, just collapsing onto his bed once in the room.
He curled up into a ball, closing his eyes tightly for a moment before he shifted and slipped his hands under his pillow as he buried his face into it. He felt something metal and cold on his hand though. He lightly touched it a bit more, feeling that it wasn't sharp, but felt like a small chain. He pulled it out, looking at the necklace with a small frown, touching his neck and chest a bit with his free hand. He frowned and put it around his neck with a bit of a struggle due to his shaking hands. He hadn't even realized the necklace he had been given by his mother had come off during the night.
The pain began to subside shortly after that and he was able to take a few normal breaths finally before he looked to Judas. "That was not cool..." he mumbled, rolling over onto his back, massaging the area of his abdomen that was still aching. He looked and felt like all the energy had been sucked out of him really.

"I wasn't thinking he was..." Judas sighed a bit with a roll of his eyes at that. He wasn't going there. If the man was a pedophile Bash wouldn't have been here right now like he was. He helped the young man up, putting his arm around his back and under his arm so that he could hold him up. He didn't want to carry Bash and was afraid that if the boy hit the ground again that he would need to. Judas was strong, but he wasn't a fan of carrying people around if he didn't have to. He kept patience as they walked though. Something that was testing his own abilities greatly. "You just need to get to your room and lay down." He encouraged him forward. He moved toward the room, opening the door for him so that he could go straight to the bed. There was no intention for him to stick around though. He would make sure Bash was comfortable, and then go to work. At least that was what he expected to do.
He closed the door, watching Bash with a sigh. "If there is something I can get you.." He started although sounding a bit exhausted at the idea of having to get him things. He reached and rubbed a hand over his back for a moment, stopping when the boy sat up some more. He stepped back, watching with some concern. He felt okay enough to stop to put on some jewelry? It didn't make sense to Judas, but he also didn't leave the room. Bash was no good to him hurt or dead, he could spare a bit more time to make sure what he was feeling didn't get worse again.
"No it wasn't cool. What happened?" JUdas crossed his arms at that, watching him closely. "And it stopped?" He added hopefully. At least if it had stopped hurting they could either talk or he could leave. Either way would be progression, Judas wasn't sure how he'd do with a sick child at how this was going. He wasn't about to get comfortable anyways. "Are you okay to be here yourself then?" He asked. words// 366 tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Sebastien shook his head a bit. "I don't need anything." he whispered, though he did enjoy the comforting back rub while Judas was willing to do it. He didn't really want to make the man do things he didn't want to do and Bash knew enough to know that Juju didn't want to spend his morning dealing with the miserable sick kid. Thankfully he wouldn't have to anyway. He was beginning to feel quite a bit better other than being exhausted, but he could push through that a lot easier than he could push through the pain and the sick feeling. "I...I don't know what happened. It started hurting...right here." he whispered, lifting his shirt and rubbing his hand over the area that at least looked perfectly fine. "It got worse and worse until it felt like someone was stabbing me. A piercing, sharp pain that burned." he looked to Judas. "I have never felt pain like that before. Never." he laid his head back against his pillow, messing with the charm on the necklace a bit, twirling it between his fingers. "It's feeling better...still aches though." Bash said quietly, though immediately frowned when he asked if he was okay to be here by himself. The last thing Bash wanted was to be left alone and well...right now Judas was all the poor kid had. "No." he said firmly. "I am not okay alone. Please Juju...Please don't leave me here all alone. Please." he whispered. "You said you'd help me figure this out." he added, hoping that if anything, he could get the man to stay because of a commitment. Words// 280 Tags// Judas Reimer
