"Well even I know where you and your mother lived when the fire happened. We could go back there but I don't think there's anything to learn from an empty lot... but I am curious..." Judas got back up and went to the box of things, looking through it. "Was this all that could be salvaged? Maybe she had more stuff thst might say how to contact people... or more names. Anything at all." Judas stacked the books back up and looked to Bash with a concerned look across his face. He set the water down on the desk and sat back down on the bed again.
"Your father is probably our best chance of figuring anything out... and I'd hope he would want to help you feel better." Though Judas knew that his own father wouldn't care if he were sick or feeling like dying that way. He sighed some, but a serious look crossed his face. "Sebastien. How bad is it even?" He asked quietly and set his hand on the boy's. "Is it that bad really?" He stared. He really hoped the boy's father could actually help.
"Outside the district... I... that makes me nervous." Judas admitted, his voice quiet. "That is far and off limits... even for pretty flowers and yummy fruit... Bash..." He was worried and it showed. He'd only been out a couple times on official business. And even if they could find where this lady lived, how would he get a sick Bash out of the Nut, through the fence, and to wherever the actual house was. He rubbed Sebastien's arm gently and looked down for a second. "And you should know there is nothing impossible. It's our job to be able to solve the impossible." words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Sebastien sighed and shook his head. "I doubt it is even still just an empty lot. I am sure they built a new house or something on it over the years." He said quietly before shaking his head a bit again. "No...this is just the stuff I was meaning to look through on my own and just never got around to it." He explained. "The rest is in storage in my dad's attic...That really is the place we need to go to first." He said quietly.
He took a breath and gave a small frown. "My father will care quite a bit that I am as sick as I am...like I said earlier. He has high expectations and he is strict, but he cares about us a lot. He does love us." He said quietly, setting the ice pack down. There was also the fact that he seemed to care about and protect Bash quite a bit more for the sake of his mother.
Bash watched Juju carefully, debating what to tell him. "I feel horrible...sick and scared. I feel like I am dying. It's exactly how it was when I was a kid. I remember feeling exactly like this." He said completely honestly. He leaned against Judas and closed his eyes. "I just want to feel better." He whispered.
"Juju...it's the only way. I know it makes you nervous. It makes me nervous too, but please...do this for me. I need you. I really, really need you." Sebastien said, looking up at him with sad and fearful eyes. "Can we just get going to my dad's now?" He asked, trying to stand shakily.

"I'm not sure. They aren't quick to rebuild in that area." Judas commented, sorting through the box another time as if he would find something new that he hadn't previously seen. "Well, we need to keep this stuff safe. But we need to go see what's in your father's home. If he cares like that he should let us in to do that." He nodded at Sébastien and held his hand out to help him up. He just wanted to make sure he felt better and if that's what it took... then that is what he would do.
He held the young man up, looking to the door. "You aren't dying kid. I swear I will die saving your life if that is what it takes." He mumbled and nodded some. "we can go." He assured him and helped the boy up, holding him close. More than he normally would. He reached and rubbed his back gently As he waited for him to stabilize himself standing up. He then started for the door quietly. He was worried for Bash, very worried, and he really wasn't trying to hide it. "We will get you better... even if it means I have to break some rules to do it." He looked quietly, meeting Bash' sad gaze with a frown, but gave him an assuring nod. He opened the door quietly. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

"It has been thirteen years though." Bash said, but stopped arguing it because really...neither of them knew what was there right now. Judas probably had a way to check, but he wasn't doing it right now and he assumed that the man hadn't cared that much before to look into all that. That sparked another thought though. "Juju...how come you looked into the fire before? How did you know that?" he asked. He was just curious if it was something he had been involved in with his job or why he knew.
Bash steadied himself after a moment and moved toward the door with Juju's help. "I don't want you to die. I don't want either of us to die." he said with a small frown. He didn't want to lose Juju at all. "And...thank you Juju...really." he whispered. He had to admit that it felt a bit weird that Judas was so concerned and being so caring, but he also loved it. He felt closer to the man and it felt quite nice.
He walked slowly from the building. It was taking a lot of effort to not just fall over and pass out, but he was quite determined really. "I really hope we find something here...My dad probably isn't even home right now. I am sure he is working or out with his wife." he said, shaking his head a bit. That would make things a bit easier at least.

"Thirteen years or one year... doesn't really matter." Judas shrugged some. He looked down at the question though, rubbing his neck and thinking of his answer. He sighed a bit. "Well you were a trouble student. So I... I looked into your past a bit. I kind of do that for those that stand out some. It's easier to know where you came from." He admitted and looked to the young man. He hadn't known it would actually be important in the future, just thought it would help him understand him as a student better.
"Honestly I don't want to die either. So uh... let's not get each other killed okay?" He suggested, looking over. Judas was in no hurry to die either. But he'd do what it took to save Bash anyways. He walked down the hall quietly, shaking his head at the thanks. "Don't thank me Bash, we don't need to do that." He said. He didn't feel like getting thanks for being himself. Judas wasn't the type to just go out and do things for anyone, but he also didn't want any real recognition for what he did do. He just did it.
And if it came to it, he would have carried Bash out. Not that he would have offered until the boy nearly fell over. He looked down to Bash and sighed. "Well if nobody is there, how are we getting in?" He asked, adjusting his arm around Sébastien to keep him standing up. He was sure it would only lead to him picking the young man up all the way. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Sebastien gave a bit of a nod at that, but he didn't really bother to comment on it. There was no reason when his answer made total sense. Bash knew a lot of the guys who caused real trouble at the school and he knew that some of them had darker pasts. Pasts riddled with loss, rejection, and pain. He knew that a lot of their actions were the product of that and it would help Judas to know that on occasion, but not always. Bash's actions had nothing to do with his mother or the fire and everything to do with his personality. "How much good did knowing that actually get you?" he asked, smirking a tiny bit. Bash was Bash and that was all there was to him. "No getting each other killed. Deal." Sebastien said with a bit of a nod before frowning slightly. He was thankful for Judas and all he was doing. He was raised to show when he was thankful for something, but Judas didn't want thanks. He didn't argue it though or completely ignore it either. Instead he very gently kissed the man's cheek as a different form of thanks as he leaned most of his weight against him anyway. Bash looked to him with a curious look. "How do you think we are getting in, Juju?" he asked. Did Judas forget who he was talking to? Sick or not, Sebastien was still the kid who could basically get into any room in the nut. Some more difficult than others, but he could do it. "I can get into a simple house." he said quietly, the confidence still there despite everything else. Words// 283 Tags// Judas ReimerNotes//

"It didn't really do me a ton of help, no." Judas admitted with a bit of a sigh. Sébastien wasn't the dark and violent type of prankster. He didn't hurt people for fun, he didn't have a nasty attitude. He didn't show a lot of Judas' expected rebellious teenage traits from someone who had suffered such loss. It had intrigued him more than worried him though. His past didn't explain his odd behavior. Something had to, but then after he got to know him he realized what it was. Very simply, Sébastien was just Bash. He didn't need a reason. Researching the file hadn't given him much insight, just a bit more information to consider. He liked knowing his students.
With a nod at that response Judas kept his pace to a point that Bash could still keep up. At least a little. "Let's do all this with neither of us dying and then I will call it an accomplishment." He mumbled, quiet now that they were in the hall. The last he needed was some nosy student or officer starting to follow them. But he stopped moving quickly, looking toward young Sébastien even at the kiss on the cheek. He looked about to scold the young man, but as he saw his sick face and the expression it held, his own softened a d he sighed. "I'm not doing anything for recognition. That's all." He explained and kept moving.
"Well I thought we were getting in with your father's permission if he's the one who might know where this Alise person is." Judas muttered and moved outdide, giving a slight wave to the guard outside. "And breaking into your father's house seems a bit mean." He added honestly. Though he'd broken into his own father's, and gotten out, without being noticed several times. "And you're sick, you can hardly stand up on your own let alone break into something..." words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Bash sighed and nodded. He didn't see Judas being in too much danger right now at least. His father knew the man at least enough to not try to kill him or something for hurting his son. His father was very much that type though. He would blame Judas for his illness and not taking good enough care of him. He was always so overprotective of Bash, not wanting to let the boy's mother down at all. "We will be fine and we will figure this out. We have to." he said quietly. He was scared, but he was determined. "And...that doesn't mean you don't deserve the recognition. He shook his head some. "We are going to check out my mother's other stuff too, remember?" he asked, looking to him. "My father will be home from work soon enough, but we really shouldn't waste any time. We can go through the stuff while we wait for him." he suggested. He stumbled a bit, but with Judas supporting him he was able to steady himself a bit again. "I can break in. I can. It will be perfectly fine. Just trust me. This is the best way." he mumbled. Words// 202 Tags// Judas ReimerNotes// Sorry it's bad

Judas nodded to him. "We will be fine. I know we will." He said with a sigh. He could only hope that the young man's father wouldn't show up and smack him around. Judas could hold his own in a fight, would beat anyone's ass who challeneged him, but he really didn't want to fight Sebastien's family at all. He didn't want to hurt them or Bash and he knew that doing that would definitely hurt him. Not physically, but emotionally at least. He held his arm firmly around Sebastien. "Well, I don't need it. I just need you feeling better." He insisted.
He managed to get out the front doors of the nut without getting stopped. He looked to Sebastien and nodded some. "Right. We are going to go get your mom's stuff and look through it. And maybe sit around and let you get rested a bit more before we have to somehow slip out of the district." He mumbled and looked around them. He knew people would be watching them walk through town. "But I don't know where your father lives so... you'll have to lead the way. As much as you can with leaning on me..." He sighed a bit and looked to the young man. "Right. We won't wait around. I promise. And... I suppose you might be able to." He shook his head. He wanted Bash to be strong enough to do it but he could manage to break in if needed. He just didn't make a habit of it. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

"It actually isn't that hard of a thing to do it seems...slipping out of the district." Bash said very quietly to keep others from hearing. "But you can't look suspicious...so you can't be nervous and I am also going to have to find something to put on at my father's I guess." he mumbled, though he really didn't feel much like bothering with clothes. He was at least not entirely too hot in just his boxers. Judas should be thankful that he was wearing boxers and not briefs. Though they were sure to get some attention either way. At least he looked as bad as he was feeling and the excuse wouldn't be completely terrible. He gave a small nod. "They don't live far from here." he told him, motioning a bit in the direction that they needed to go. His father had gotten a place that was between the nut and the academy, so that he would be near both his boys. "And...it's pretty easy to break into his house. The only thing is....my locking picking thingy is in my wallet in my pants in my room." he mumbled. It wouldn't be terribly hard to figure out something else though and by the time they got there he would surely welcome any help that Judas was willing to give. Words// 228 Tags// Judas ReimerNotes//

"It should be a hard thing to do if the other Peacekeepers did their jobs." Judas muttered with a shake of his head. He never thought that their incompetence could be of any use to him. He hadn't thought of Bash's lack of clothes honestly. Hadn't even really considered it, been too worried about the sick young man. He looked down and frowned slightly. "Yeah. You need clothes. Everyone will be watching us if you stay like that... they already are." he muttered. He didn't want the attention. Especially here where everyone knew who he was. Everyone recognized him. The rumors that might crop up from him wandering through the district with a sickly young man in just boxers was.. a concerning idea. He was hoping that the house wasn't far at all.
"Good. Less distance is good." Judas whispered and started the direction Sebastien had motioned. He would have had a ton to complain about if he had to go to the other side of the district for it. "Right. Right. You didn't plan ahead with any of this. Good thing I am not useless in these things either." He mumbled. He'd done quite a bit of breaking into district homes before moving to teaching the academy. He looked down the street, hoping there were less people around here than the main road from the nut. "You're going to lay down and tell me where the stuff is when we get there. I'm not carrying you into an attic or anything." He muttered. words// tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes// Phone post

Sebastien sighed softly. "For the average person it would be difficult if they did their jobs, but...I am not exactly the average person now, am I?" he asked, looking to Judas with a questioning look. "Neither was my mother." he added. People wouldn't believe him if he explained just how much of his...talents...came from his mother. The sweet, innocent woman was the last person you would expect to break laws and have talents that most criminals wished they could posses. Sure the peacekeepers doing their jobs would make it a bit harder, but no where near impossible.
He looked down at himself and then to those around them. Normally he would have made some joke about how it was only natural that people stare at someone as gorgeous as himself regardless of how much clothing he was wearing, but...he just didn't have it in him. He hadn't planned for any of this to happen. He didn't even know what the hell was going on. He just knew that he felt like crap and if it wasn't for Judas...he'd be lying on the ground most likely dying right now. "I..." he was about to argue, but gave a defeated sigh instead. "Fine." he said simply. The idea of laying down was just too good to resist. "All the boxes are labeled and together...so it really won't be hard." he assured him as they walked.
He wasn't lying when he said the house was close and they were there shortly. He moved up the steps with Judas to stand on the porch that wrapped all the way around the house. "You have a lock pick?" he asked curiously, looking to him. "Or are you planning to get in a different way?" he asked.

"Yeah... I'd call you a lot of things but average is not one of them." Judas admitted, looking to the boy who was just in boxers. He shook his head some and kept walking. He wasn't going to question that Bash would do some crazy things. Or that he would be able to sneak out of the district even if all of the peacekeepers were doing their jobs. The young man was smart. But he knew it would be more difficult at least. It was much easier to do with them being lazy asses though. Even Judas would admit that much.
Concern crossed his face as Bash didn't make a comment. The young man always had some remark to respond with. That and he didn't argue that Judas would make him lay down. The older man gave a bit of a nod at that, concerned but not enough to speak up. Sebastien was sick. He knew that. He wasn't going to ask. "Okay. Then dumb old Judas should still be able to find them. So I'll find the boxes upstairs and bring them down to you and we can start searching together. Between us we should find something useful." He commented. Or at least, he could. Sebastien may be asleep before Judas got to the boxes.
"Well. I always just knock the door down. But yes, I have a lock pick. And other tools." Judas looked to him. He had a nice assortment of collapsible knives and tools that he kept in his pocket. "And you really weren't lying when you said it was close." He added with interest before holding out the options of tools for Bash. Sebastien sighed softly at that. "I am curious what you actually would call me, but...that is for another time." he said, shaking his head a bit. He didn't want to waste time having Judas tell him what he thought. He also didn't feel like listening to anything negative the man had to say. That wouldn't be a good thing to put on the poor sick boy.
He shrugged. "You aren't dumb. Don't call yourself dumb." he told him, his tone as stern as he could manage. He hated listening to the guy talk bad about himself. "They are easy to find. They should be right to your left when you walk in and they will all be labeled in a way that is easy to see. My step mom organized the heck out of the stuff we have in storage up there." he assured him. "And yes, bring them down and we can look through them together."
"I would appreciate it if you didn't kick down my father's door. It's a nice door and would be unnecessary in this case." He commented, shaking his head. He didn't want to have to hear about how he ruined the front door to the house and how his dad would have to fix it, and how his step mother's beautiful stained glass window would be ruined in the process. That would not be a fun time and he didn't want to be on bad terms with his family. "Lock pick please, but you can do it. My hands are too shaky." he mumbled.

Judas rolled his eyes a bit. "You assume I'm going to just be mean." He laughed and kept moving. He wasn't going to make him listen to anything though. If he was feeling so bad he didn't want to head Judas talk about him then he really needed some help. That wasn't normal for Sebastien at all.
Judas was more likely to talk bad about himself, and he did. It was easier to criticize himself and then do better than he said than to talk like he was amazing and fail to meet that bar that he set. "Okay. So it should be easy to find. God it. No insulting myself. I'll try on that one." He admitted with a bit of a shrug. He'd for sure bring the things down. Seeing what was in the other box Judas was sure it would take more than one person to be able to understand at least somewhat what things in that attic might be saying. He moved up to the door, looking back to Bash curiously.
"It is a nice door. I suppose I can spare it." Judas sighed a bit, searching his pockets. He had a little bit of everything. Something about having to always be prepared and you never knew when you might need to quietly sneak into somebody's house to spy on them. He found the lock pick and grinned. "Just keep watch." He reminded him before moving to work on getting in the lock. He could do it, he knew how. He just didn't want to get caught without an excuse.
Pascal had been studying, or more like training, in the living room. The two weren't quite as quiet as they might have been intending, as the young man heard their voices outside, loud enough to know that they were near the house. Quietly the young man took his practice sword and moved toward the door with it raised, ready to smack whoever it was in the head with it. When Judas finally got the lock to click, and opened the door, he was met with a harsh plastic sword to his head, knocking him sideways. Judas stumbled sideways into the wall by the door, reaching for his head with a pained look on his face. "Who the hell!?" words// 384 tags// Sebastien Athanasopoulosnotes//
