Kyan couldn't have honestly expected Tinsley to stay in the District One apartment all day on her own. He couldn't expect her to stay there at all. This entire trip to the Capitol felt incredibly pointless and worthless now that she had spoken to both Ves and Kyan about her current state. Ves...it didn't matter how he felt about her or about the fact that she was having his baby. Odds were that he was going to die in that arena and if he didn't die, what were the chances he would be willing to settle down with her a child? She found him flirting with another tribute just hours after he had said to stay single for him. Why should she when he wasn't willing to do the same for her and may never be willing? He had always flirted with others while fooling around with her, but...she hadn't been so upset by it until now. Maybe he wasn't the right one and she was going to be stuck alone with the baby.
Kyan had simply been incredibly annoying about the whole thing. She wasn't stupid and she hadn't been stupid. She had been careful, always, but there was always that small chance that it would fail and this time it had. If she was going to fall in that small percentage who got pregnant despite being careful then maybe it was just simply meant to be. There was nothing she could do about it now and his lectures had been unnecessary. She didn't get why it even mattered. It was her life and she didn't want to stay with him and Anais anymore anyway. She would figure out something else. There had to be something else. She was done with Kyan. She was done with his so called wife. She was done with her family.
After Kyan had left to go back to doing what he could to try and keep his tributes alive, she had freshened up a bit and lounged around while she tried to figure out what she wanted to do. She just knew that she didn't want to stick around here any longer and would have to find somewhere better to go. So once she was feeling better, even a bit hungry, she decided to leave and see what her options actually were. If anything she could always head back home and find some way to lock Anais out of the house so she could have the place to herself. She moved out of the apartment cautiously, making sure no one was around, doing her best to hide her face even as she went in the elevator just in case someone stepped on.
No one did though and when she peeked out into the lobby of the tribute center she realized it was incredibly empty. Everyone was busy doing other things so there was really no reason for anyone to actually be there since the tribs were in training and the mentors were all off sucking up to people. It made her job all that much easier. She moved from the elevator toward the door, so close to freedom when she heard a man's voice behind her that made her stop dead in her tracks. You know this is a restricted building right? She didn't turn around at first, instead closing her eyes as a million thoughts ran through her head. What if it was a peacekeeper? No...this person didn't sound peacekeeper like. Wasn't cranky and angry enough.. Another tribute? Maybe, but weren't they all training now. Mentor maybe? She wasn't sure, but what if they got pissy and ratted her out? No matter what she was caught and there was nothing to do at the moment, but figure out who had caught her.
She turned on her heel, about to speak when she saw the young man moving toward her. A quick look up and down and it was obvious that he was not a peacekeeper, that he was not a tribute, and that he was not a mentor, but damn was he good looking. She took note of the bit of blue in his hair. Capitolite. Potential Sponsor? Someone who worked the games? Someone who...she didn't know. "I uh..." she bit her lip, not quite sure how to explain herself to this young man. "I was just leaving." she mumbled when she failed to come up with a good lie, hoping that maybe he would just take it. "I came into the wrong building. Silly me." she shrugged a bit, taking a couple steps back toward the door.

It was the first Games where Jaymis wasn't just some intern. Sure he wasn't a Gamemaker either but maybe he had gotten a better deal this way. He wasn't in constant danger from Snow, and the Gamemakers depended on him to do their jobs. Sure it wasn't as artistically as creative but it was a nice set up for his life. He could thank Snow and Fara for that turn around. From coming close to being written off the inheritance, to owning it all, he would call his life a success. Even if it had taken lies and a death to get there, it was still success.
After a couple of hours chatting away with Seneca Crane and other Gamemakers Jaymis was ready to go home. He liked them well enough. As head of Games technology he had to really have a close relation with people like Crane. When the head gamemaker wanted something crazy done, it fell on his technology and resources to get it done. Communication was essential. That and the Gamemakers had some of the best food while they spent hours observing tributes. He couldn't imagine how bored doing that all day for a week would have made him. No wonder they ordered all that food. But he was ready to go home now, pet his cat and watch tribute reviews. It seemed though that life had a different plan for the second half of his day. He got to the lobby, and as he came for the door in what he expected to be an empty space he caught a glimpse of someone else that made him turn fully.
The young man resisted the urge to comment on her looks out loud. Yelling out "Hey Beautiful!" Had yet to make Jaymis friends. And there was the part of him that said Fara was always watching. But she wasn't here. She was working. This new girl wasn't a tribute. He knew their faces already. She wasn't a victor, Jaymis had watched every Games he had access to. Curiously he watched her with a slight tilt to his head, curious just what ran through her mind to have her sneaking around that way.
"You know this is a restricted building right?" Jaymis tried his stern voice but it just didn't work. He wasn't commanding. Didn't feel that important. Though he crossed his arms and tried to stand tall anyways. He was sure he had surprised her, a cheesy grin crossing his face in time for the female to turn around. The nervous and lost stuttering for an answer that immediately came made the young Capitolites chuckle a bit, shaking his head at her.
"What do I look like? A Peacekeeper?" Jaymis asked, an amused sparkle to his blue eyes and a a bit of a laugh following. Him, a peacekeeper, now that was an amusing thought. He wouldn't make it a day in Peacekeeper training. He smiled too much. "Trust me, I am far from a Peacekeeper. I'm richer, and smarter, and oh so much better looking than any of them. You don't have to make up stories." The grin remained as the nineteen year old attempted to close the distance between them. She took a couple of steps back, but he simply took a couple forward. "Or do I have something on my face? You're looking at me like it. Those Gamemakers sure know how to pick amazing, but maybe a bit messy, food." Jaynis gave a smirk though reached to rub his cheek and make sure there really was nothing there. He was trying his best not to burst out laughing though. Wrong building? Did she think he was dumb? He was but... Not that far.
"Oh, you don't have to tell me lies beautiful. Its really hard to accidentally find yourself in the tribute center." Jaymis said, head tilted once more as he uncrossed his arms and looked her over once more. He wasn't about to rat her out. He wasn't that kind of person. And he wasn't about to pass up the chance to chat a bit with someone new. "I think it is pretty obvious why you are here. I mean, why else would anyone be sneaking in here but ti catch a glimpse of the tributes in training. At their most telling moments before the games." He gave a friendly smile and a shrug to her. That didn't bother him, he had been guilty of sneaking in once before himself a couple years ago. It had been Crane who caught him, sending him off and back to school without turning him in.
Jaymis gave her a pleasant smile though, he wasn't about to just send her away either. No, he was getting his social mood back. Mainly because it wasn't every day he ran into an attractive girl who wasn't overly done in makeup. "And you don't have to run. I mean, if you want to know about the tributes I'm your guy. I know what there is to know about those kids so uh..." He gave a slightly nervous chuckle. "I mean if you're that interested." He added. Jaymis had a hope that she was interested, as it would give him an excuse to speak to her and stay out of trouble. And he didn't care if he built her story for her. He would happily give her a whole long excuse if she let him keep talking. The young man was a social person, and well he had the advantage here. She was nervous, she had something to hide and he had caught her. Of course she'd talk to him. It was just a matter of if he could turn it into a friendly conversation. words// tags// Tinsley Berylnotes//

He was laughing at her pathetic excuse. Tinsley knew very well that it was pathetic, but it was still embarrassing for her. She was used to being so quick on her toes at coming up with excuses, but apparently she was more tired than she thought. The stress of everything was weighing on her heavily and she was just realizing it. At least he wasn't a peacekeeper and she was able to confidentially shake her head when he asked if he looked like one before going off on an egotistical rant of how and why he was so much better than them. Typical Capitolite there, but she was willing to put up with it in place of being in major trouble with someone. This guy seemed social and...somewhat friendly, but his comment about the gamemakers and eating with them like they were the best of friends made her confused and concerned. The way it was worded he didn't seem to be one himself, but he clearly had connections to be in there eating with them.
"How do I know that I can really trust you?" Tinsley asked. "I've only just met you." she added, though she had to agree that he was good looking and there was no doubt that he was rich if he was spending time with the gamemakers. "And no...you don't actually have anything on your face. Well...maybe a little speck of something right..." she lifted her hand up to her right cheek and touched the spot on herself where it seemed he had a bit of his meal still hanging around. "So you were eating with the gamemakers? Is that what they do while they watch the tributes train? Just eat a bunch?" she wanted to know more about what he had been doing with them and what they did in general, but she didn't want to outright ask either. This was the best she could do for now.
Oh, you don't have to tell me lies beautiful. Its really hard to accidentally find yourself in the tribute center. Tinsley blushed a bit at that, though this time it wasn't entirely about being caught in such a ridiculous lie. It had been a long while since someone had called her beautiful the way he just had. A lot of the guys back home didn't use the term beautiful so much as they used others and it was always followed by some cheesy attempt at getting her into bed with them. This wasn't the same and the state she was in made it feel different all on its own. "Are you one of those guys who calls every girl beautiful just to get your way with them?" she asked in a sort of accusing, but also playful manner. Not entirely awful, but not entirely lighthearted either. "And you do, do you?" she asked when he stated that he knew why she was there in the tribute center.
He was wrong. So very wrong and so very far from wrong, but his story seemed better than the truth. She didn't exactly want to tell this capitolite all about her situation with the unborn child and it's father being a tribute. He had given her the perfect story and she was going to latch onto it very tightly since he wasn't upset about it. "You got me. Who wouldn't want the chance to see the tributes' activities before the games? Surely it would give me a better idea of who has it and who doesn't." she smiled slightly. "And it seems that I have run into the perfect person then. I would be delighted to hear all you have to tell me about them." she said. She didn't really care that much herself, but she knew that it might give her some inside info to seeing who and what Ves was up against. What the chances were that he was going to make it out alive. She wasn't even sure she cared if he came back or not anymore.

Jaymis hadn't thought much about his comments on the Gamemakers. Most in the Capitol had heard of him, and knew a ton about the Gamemakers too. There was nothing odd for him to bring the Gamemakers up and he just gave a cheesy smile at her question. The young man gave the most innocent of shrugs as he looked to her. "Well of course you can trust me. What harm am I going to do to you? Talk you to death?" He laughed at that, shaking his head as he looked around the room to think of a real and actually assuring answer to the question. "You just met me. I just met you. For all I know you're some district rebel come to kill everyone here. I should be asking why I should trust a thing you say. You're the unauthorized one." But he grinned at that, obviously joking about rebels. As far as he was concerned there were none. Rebels just didn't exist anymore. The Games were a show, and one that didn't exist without him now and for that he was proud and the last thing on his mind was dumb rebels destroying it. He had no idea the only rebel he would have to worry about had just been snacking and drinking with him.
He gave a slight sigh of relief until she corrected herself, quickly turning away as he reached up to wipe off whatever it was that she was suggesting was there. He'd have to eat more carefully next time. He looked back. "Better?" He asked before giving an enthusiastic nod. Of course he was eating with the Gamemakers. Had she not heard anything recently? He couldn't know she had no access to such gossip stories about his father's sudden death and the young man's rise to such a high position so quickly. As far as he was concerned anyone not a tribute or a Victor was a Capitolite and every Capitolite must know him. If only by the blue hair and his inheritance of the company. "I wouldn't lie about that. Of course I spent some time with the Gamemakers. Interesting bunch they are. Need to know anything about them I got that too. And yes. They eat, and drink, and discuss what they see and plan how to use those skills. You know, do their job. In all Capitol glory with amazing food and good looks." He added with a shrug as if it were nothing that he'd seen any of it. Only the biggest of the big sponsors and the important people got to hang out with the Gamemakers during training week. He hadn't even gotten to when he was near graduating as a Gamemaker himself.
His grin only widened as he saw her blush. The young Capitolite shook his head, reaching a hand to brush the blue strand of hair back into place as he watched her close. The man stepped closer to her. He tried not to be too close, but the Capitol definition of personal space likely differed from that of the rest of the Districts. They were a very.. touchy group of people. "Now tell me, why would I have to resort to generic comments that may or may not be true, to get the girl. Hmm? I don't need to make up compliments. My good looks do it all for me." Jaymis said quite surely. His ego sure fit with the people around him. He smirked at her and nodded. "I know enough. And I promise, I'm not trying to get you to go home with me. I have a girl who would be pissed if she caught me taking another girl home." He gave just a slight roll of his eyes at that. There was a slight fear of Fara, mainly by just how much she had her grandfather wrapped around her finger. And that the man liking Jaymis had a lot to do with how he treated Fara. They had it far too easy when they came to him about the senior Peralti and his execution. The president sent the order just a bit too willingly for Jaymis. No, the compliment had been sincere in attempting to be a nice guy.
There was a pride when she agreed with the excuse he provided to her. He didn't think he'd actually handed her the excuse she stuck with. He would rather think he was just right about it all. He leaned closer with a grin. "So, you're looking at who to sponsor? Well... I... can't tell you who to sponsor but maybe close. I'm the right person for information for sure I got it all today. Of course... I can't tell you everything and anything right here for nothing. I mean, it's like if you start talking about tributes or Gamemakers in this building, that Crane guy just shows up." He said quietly as if it were something important. Really he would have liked to get out of the building, even take her out to lunch. And reduce the amount of trouble they could be in by hanging around the place. words// 860 tags// Tinsley Berylnotes// May have rambled just slightly.

Tinsley nodded a bit. He had a point, he seemed pretty harmless and she had ruled out that he was a peacekeeper, but he was still a Capitol stranger who had just come from mingling with the gamemakers. The people who created horrid worlds to kill her people in, to most likely kill Ves in, while they watched and enjoyed the whole show. He had another good point that he really had no reason to trust her either. She had no intentions of causing him any harm, he was the first person who hadn't just made her angry in quite a while. "I can promise you that I am not a rebel. Is that even a thing?" she asked curiously. Surely it was a thing, but to what point she wasn't quite aware of nor did she really care all that much. You don't bite the hand that feeds you. "I may regret this later on, but I think I trust you. Hopefully that doesn't change." she said, giving a bit of a smile.
She couldn't contain the little laugh that escaped her when he quickly turned away to wipe the bit of food off his face. She nodded with a playful grin on her face when he turned back toward her and asked if he had gotten it off. "Yes, much better. You are all clean and pretty once again." she assured him, not particularly meaning to use such a flirty tone, but she didn't really seem to try and keep from doing it either. If Vesuvius could flirt with other men and be a complete dick, then so could she. It was only fair and it wasn't likely that she would ever see this young man ever again after today. She was still unsure about this whole gamemaker thing and he was looking at her like she should just understand why he was with them and who he was. "Sounds very interesting." she commented. She wondered if she could weasel some information from him that could help Ves out, but then again....there was another part of her, a little voice deep inside telling her that she shouldn't care and she shouldn't help him.
Now tell me, why would I have to resort to generic comments that may or may not be true, to get the girl. Hmm? I don't need to make up compliments. My good looks do it all for me. She rolled her eyes at that, but the smile remained on her face. She hadn't smiled, truly smiled, so much in what felt like ages. Jaymis may have a bit of an ego problem, but at least he was adorable about it and for whatever reason she found it somewhat amusing as opposed to be annoying. "I know a lot of guys who are that way, but you are different it seems." she commented, shrugging a bit. The guys back home had egos too, but they were much bigger jerks about it. She couldn't help the bit of disappointment she felt when he stated that he had a girl who would be upset if he took her home, but the eye roll confused her. He was loyal, but it didn't seem to be a very happy relationship.
"Maybe we should get out of here. Find somewhere else where you can tell me what you know to help me make my choice." Tinsley said with a smile. "Somewhere in public still, of course." she added to show she understood that he wouldn't be taking her home despite still being confused about the way he spoke of his girlfriend. She didn't know the capitol to be able to suggest somewhere for them to go, so she hoped that this guy would just pick a place. This guy? She looked to him again after moving closer to the door. "I never got your name by the way." she said. "I'm Tinsley." she introduced herself.

Jaymis' amused laugh and shake of his head only proved he really didn't believe she could be a rebel. There weren't rebels, the Peacekeepers dealt with them before they could destroy anything. He gave a bright grin and shrugged. "No that's not a real thing. I was just joking." He laughed and glanced around them carefully. Sure he was a bit ignorant to say it didn't exist. But he told himself that it wasn't a real thing just to avoid thinking about the possible end to his dream life. Unless something actually happened he would keep telling himself that it wouldn't happen. "Oh, well. Maybe later we will both have regrets. I think I can let myself trust you. I mean, if I were really thinking I wouldn't trust some sneaky girl in the tribute center but... it's a day for risks." He smirked to her.
The young capitolite gave a cheesy grin and looked to her. "Awww thanks. I'm always pretty, but I can't have any little spots. Imagine if the rest of the Capitol saw that." He chuckled more. Appearances were everything for him, particularly after his bit of a promotion. Or more his inheritance of one of the most important roles one could have in the Capitol. Beyond presidency and head Gamemaker and the like. He cared more than he ever previously would, which made her bit of a flirty tone of voice make him smile just that bit more. Looking away, he grinned and reached up to move the loose strand of blue hair away from his face. He glanced up again, nodding slightly. For the ego filled young man he was, a simple compliment and flirt could throw him into being the bashful young boy he had once been. Part may have been a cute little act, but he wasn't going to say that. "They are interesting. If you wanted to see the tributes that would have been the perfect place to be." The young man shrugged, it wasn't like he could get her up there if he wanted to anyways.
His grin remained as he watched her reaction to his answer. His honest, if not full of himself, answer. At least he'd managed not to annoy her enough that she left. He believed he was that cute. He'd never resorted to using girls or false compliments to get what he wanted. Something about his sweet nature, and his appearance and status, kept him from having to force such shallow means. Of course lasting relationships were few and far between to the point where he felt he was just never going to stay with anyone long. Still he kept his dignity and the dignity of the people he met. "I pride myself in being different. And not shallow." He assured her and smiled, moving just slightly closer. "I'm no pig, I earn my dates fairly. You know, impressing people But-" He stopped and sighed with a bit of a shrug. "What can I say? Being loyal to the president's granddaughter has its downfalls." Everyone knew who he was dating. Or at least he thought everyone did. And this girl owed him secret keeping for not turning her in anywhere. He could have easily called Peacekeepers over. "It makes me happy to know I am not like those dirty pigs to you."" Even if it truly didn't get him anywhere with her. Jaymis gave a small not to her and started for the door. Somewhere in public he could do. Getting out of here he could manage. He knew all of the cool places to go see here. He went to lead her out of the building when she managed to come up with a very important question, The man looked back to her from reaching to open the door, smiling brightly.
"I'm Jaymis. It is an unexpected pleasure to meet you."" He replied with the cheesiest of crins to her. words: 660 tags: Tinsley Berylnotes:

Tinsley wasn't sure why Jaymis was so willing to trust her. She had gotten quite lucky to have run into him out of all the people she could have ended up with. She could be heading to her death right now. But no, she had run into Jaymis. This young, gorgeous man who seemed very sweet and outgoing and fun despite the bit of an ego trip. The good made up for all the bad that could come with him being so full of himself. It almost made her feel bad lying to him, but she couldn't outright explain her situation. It could get her into trouble and well, it was complicated. It wasn't worth dealing with right now. "I guess we might as well just trust each other and hope for the best." she said with a simple shrug. "But I highly doubt I am going to have any regrets at the end of the day." she added with a bit of a smile.
His egotistical comment made her roll her eyes, but she couldn't help the bit of a grin that followed. "It would be tragic, wouldn't it? You have to keep up that whole pretty boy image you have going on there. Any less and you just may be cast out from the Capitol." she teased, crossing her arms over her chest as she watched him. She was honestly surprised by the way he blushed. He didn't seem like the type who would blush like that, but she was amused that he did. It gave him a more cute appearance and just further proved that he wasn't like the other guys were back home. She would have said something, but his comment distracted her fairly quickly. "I am sure they don't just let anyone in there and I would be in a hell of a lot more trouble if I had tried to sneak in there." she said, the idea alone making her nervous. What if she had accidentally ended up in that room? What would she have done then? She just hoped that Jaymis didn't have the power to get her in there. That would be too much. "I'd rather you just tell me all you know." she added with a shrug and a small, forced smile.
She listened to him with a smile. How could someone so full of himself be so adorable? "I am sure that you have no trouble getting dates. You are quite charming and as we have both mentioned several times now, you are cute. You are the whole package." she said, shrugging a bit. It was a shame really that he already had a girlfriend and that she was in the predicament she had gotten herself into. He would make really good boyfriend material, but she had a feeling that a guy like him wouldn't be interested in a pregnant, broken district girl. He didn't need all that added baggage when he could so easily get himself a pretty and simple Capitol girl. She frowned a bit though when he mentioned Snow and Snow's granddaughter. He was dating Fara? Of course she knew who Fara was. What girl didn't? It just meant she had to be extra careful with this guy, but the way he spoke made her curious enough to risk asking. "You are dating Fara Snow?" she asked. He didn't sound like he was happily in the relationship and that was what had her interested.
"It's very nice to meet you, Jaymis. It's a shame though...I wish I had met you sooner." Tinsley commented, not really able to stop herself from thinking about how her life could be if she hadn't slept with Ves. If she hadn't gotten pregnant. If she had met Jaymis at a point when they were both free from life. Maybe they could have been a thing and she could have gotten away from home to live here. She simply followed him out the door after that, trusting him to take her somewhere nice and somewhere that would be safe.

Jaymis looked to her with a bit of a smirk at that, shrugging a bit. "Hoping for the best seems to be my thing. Caution and plans have gotten me nowhere in this life." Nothing he had planned out, or carefully looked into, had ever truly come to work. He'd planned for years to become a Gamemaker, that didn't work. Being too careful had Fara bored with him anyways. Actually, being careful and cautious had Jaymis himself bored and he really didn't feel like continuing that way. "I have a feeling I won't either. Unless you turn out some crazy killer. Though that could be cool in it's own way. Surely not a boring way to go out..." He shrugged at that though. He was still all about image, and leaving the world with some interest would work well with that. "Tragic as tragic could be here. It's those little things too. Public figure shows up with food on their cheek and they will never forget it. Any little thing you know." He tried to serious, but it turned into a bit of goofy laughing and looking away from her. There was some truth to it. And being outcast in the Capitol was the last he wanted. Especially when he was still attached to Fara, who he was sure would eventually get bored and relieve his stress for him. At least on the front of continuously trying to impress President Snow more than average.
He stopped though, a bit of a serious look crossing his face as he looked back toward her. He shook his head slightly. No they didn't allow people in there without invitations, that was sure. "You wouldn't have gotten in there really. They actually have Peacekeepers at the door this Games. Although this is the first year I've been able to be in there myself. Just a couple of months ago, I was still in high school." He commented with a grin that was a bit too proud of his early graduation. Given the circumstances anyways. He wasn't going to try and take her to meet them. Not really. He only got into the room himself because Seneca had requested him. Bringing in some girl he had met by the door in after he had been dismissed didn't quite feel like the best idea. Even bored Jaymis wasn't going to take that risk. For her sake, and his own. He simply gave her a bit of a nod. "And I'll definitely tell you anything you have interest to hear." He said and his grin started to return. He'd probably tell her things she didn't even want to know.
"Charming and handsome I am. You got that right. But... also taken." Jaymis sighed. He surely didn't say it proud like he would have a few months ago. He was tired of the run arounds and the constantly trying to win her back over. Part of him wished that Fara would just dump him already. Then at least he would be off the hook, he hadn't done anything but bored her, she could find her new interest to play around with until he got boring too. The young man looked over toward her quietly. He looked over to her interested question and took a deep breath. Spent a few seconds examining the area to be sure there wasn't someone close enough to listen. The last he needed was Fara finding out what he was feeling. "Yeah. I am." Jaymis' blue gaze lowered to the floor as he finally admitted it and thought some, rubbing his neck slightly. "It's... supposed to be an honor but... just between you and me and please don't go telling people... It's more like a curse. I mean... she is beautiful. Amazingly gorgeous and the prize of the Capitol but... between impressing her every day and her grandfather..." He sighed lightly and shook his head at that. He didn't know why he had even started to tell this stranger anything. She was the one who was daring enough to sneak around to see the tributes, what would stop her from spreading his secrets across the whole Capitol.
He glanced back to her face. The simple but pretty girl standing in front of him who, as far as he knew, didn't create a risk of execution for him by saying the wrong thing. Or annoying her family. He looked over and shrugged. "It's nice to meet you. I thought the interesting part of my day had ended." He replied, though a slight bit of confusion crossed his face. She wished they had met sooner? He shrugged it off and started down the walkway quietly, thinking a bit about where he wanted to take her. "Are you picky about food? I don't want to take you somewhere you won't like anything. Any suggestions?" He commented. He was still sure she was from the Capitol, and as such assumed she knew where she liked to eat for them to sit down and talk. word count: 843 tags: Tinsley Berylnotes:

Hoping for the best seems to be my thing. Caution and plans have gotten me nowhere in this life. Truer words had never been spoken and for once, the true description wasn't coming from her. There was someone else who understood the way she had been feeling for so long now. Kyan didn't get it. He never had. He seemed to have some big plans for her future. For her life. Same with her father. They all wanted her to be something and she was struggling to just keep her current self from shattering into a million pieces. Plans had never quite worked out in her favor. It was time to stop looking so far ahead that she lost track of the present. "I understand that and I am glad I found someone else who gets it too." she said quietly, but left it at that, giving a bit of a sheepish grin. "I promise I won't kill you without reason." she said, leaving it up in the air if she was joking or not. It wasn't like she had thought about killing before. It wasn't like she hadn't helped Ves. It was just complicated and Jaymis was safe. He was too sweet not to be. She giggled and shook her head. "I am sure it would be all over the news that you had a bit of food on your face. It would be awful." she rolled her eyes a bit. She nodded a bit as she listened to him and shrugged slightly. She knew very well that she wouldn't have gotten into the room. It wasn't a place she wanted to be in anyway. She was just concerned about how she could have just walked right into that little situation accidentally. The peacekeepers wouldn't have been nearly as sweet as Jaymis was being. She had gotten very lucky. She smiled slightly at his pride though. "So you've graduated already then?" she asked curiously. She was a terrible judge of age. "And don't you worry. I have no intentions of ever going in there. Besides, I have my new friend to tell me whatever my little heart desires." she said with a bit of a grin and a gentle nudge toward him. She didn't really feel much like talking about the games or Ves though. She'd find something else to distract him with later. Tinsley listened to Jaymis speak of his rather, unhappy relationship, sighing softly. Stay single for me. Those words from Ves. The very last words she had heard from him before she came to the Capitol and caught him full on flirting with another tribute. It made her angry, but worst of all it had hurt. Why had she ever loved that boy the way she did? She sighed. "Relationships suck." she found herself mumbling, shaking her head as well. "If I have learned anything, it's that you can't judge a person by their looks and the things they say. Their actions are what truly tell how they feel." she sighed. "And your secret is safe with me. I know how sucky life can be." she continued. She watched him for a moment, but looked away when she saw the bit of confusion her comment had sparked. She didn't say anything more about it though, leaving it up to him to decide what he wanted her to have meant. "I'm not picky honestly, but simple is better. I am not really up for anything super fancy today." she said quietly. It was an excuse. The foods weren't that different she assumed, but with the way her stomach was this morning being adventurous seemed like a bad idea. "Somewhere simple and relaxed and fun sounds so wonderful right now." she added. It was so true. She needed to de-stress a bit. She also had a feeling that Fara didn't allow him to go to the more relaxed, less fancy places and it might be a nice change for him too.

Jaymis gave an interested look at her response, but didn't think too far. He didn't know about her life any more than she appeared to know about him. She couldn't know what plans he had made that had fallen through. How much of an ass his father had been to take away his dreams. Or what he had to do to fix where his plans had gone wrong. "Planning too far ahead leaves far too much room for people to come in and tear those apart." He said quietly, but he wasn't quite willing to explain his details. He hadn't told anyone but those involved. She caught his interest once more, and he looked up with a bit of a concerned look. "And I won't kill you without reason either. Looks like we are both safe then." He commented. He wouldn't hurt her. There was hardly anything she could do, short of attempting to kill him, that would make him want her dead. And he was more the planning type anyways. He had to say he liked her for sure. Something about her... maybe the fact that she played along and rolled her eyes, the conversation about food on his face turning into more of a mocking than actual concern. Most of the Capitol would gasp and honestly be appalled by the though. But laughing it off and joking about it, most wouldn't. Not the ones that he met. "Really, really thank you. I needed a laugh at that, some of the things that freak people out..." He shook his head with a roll of his eyes. Sure his image was important to him, but keeping it up to such standards as he was held to was just exhausting.
"Oh yeah I graduated. Later than I'd hope, I never thought I would be in that school for that long. I didn't even go to school for what I'm doing. Only got out of there because of my father's.... sudden death, and some good inheritance." Jaymis shrugged just slightly. He felt too old to have just graduated from school a couple months ago. Twenty was too old to have just been in high school, but his father had his hands on some very important strings to keep his son back. Jaymis had yet to really decipher why the man had done so, but he was sure it was some twisted reasons. "Good. This new friend is more interesting than what is in that room anyways. Well, unless you want to meet the Gamemakers. But I could get you that too without upsetting Peacekeepers." He offered but shrugged a bit. Sure she still didn't know what he actually did or why he knew the Gamemakers, but he really could convince them to go out for a dinner in a public place he could take her to if she really wanted.
A slight frown crossed his face and he looked up. "They can suck. I left probably the happiest relationship of my life for the status of dating Fara Snow." He shook his head a bit at that. Jaymis had come to realize just what Tinsley explained in the lat year or so. "I probably hold the record for the longest relationship with her though... but... she's a pretty face and title who turned out to be..." He trailed off, looking away. Starting to criticize her might come back to kick him in the ass if he continued. Even with her assurance that his secret was safe. He looked over. "Thanks. If this got out well... more than my social life would be damaged. But... what happened with you?" He asked with some curiosity. He had shared his secrets, somewhat. He wanted a little on her too.
His confusion remained for a minute. What could meeting him sooner have helped her? There had to be something he didn't know or understand. But she wanted to move on it seemed. Food on the mind, sitting down to talk. It made sense really. He had promised that, and standing around talking about his life wasn't doing that. He gave a bit of a nod. "Simple. Simple sounds so nice." He said quietly. She was right, Fara never let him go out to the lesser places. Smaller things that weren't quite presidential quality were off limits if he was with her. Not that he didn't sometimes sneak away to the smaller places. And it wasn't like anyone searched for people like him out there. In the not so stuffy places. "I think I have an idea. Definitely more relaxed and fun than the usual I get stuck in." There were places he had spent hanging out after school before he started dating Fara, some more childish than others. When he wasn't busy with homework. "I mean, fun being the key word. I haven't been in... over a year." words// 813 tags// Tinsley Berylnotes//

Tinsley nodded a bit again. It was almost like he shared a mind with her and the whole situation was just proof that there was no point in planning anything. Everything she had planned had crumbled around her recently and the one good thing, the boy standing right in front of her, hadn't been a part of any plan. There was no possible way to plan for him. "Life works in such strange ways...Nothing I have planned has ever worked out." she said quietly, shaking her head a bit. She smirked though and nodded. "Well good. We are on the same page with that. I am sure we will both come out of this alive and probably quite happy. Guess we will just have to wait and see." she told him. She wanted to be hopeful that her day with her new friend would be nothing, but wonderful, but she also knew better than to get her hopes up like that. There wasn't much more bad that she could take without just breaking. It was going so well already though. She was making him laugh it seemed, in ways he hadn't in quite some time. She kind of assumed that Capitolites were always super happy, but Jaymis didn't seem to fit that stereotype. "We all look a little silly in public sometimes. If you let those little things get to you then your life would be completely miserable." she said, shaking her head. She nodded a bit as she listened to him, curious really what he meant. "How old are you anyway, if you don't mind me asking that is?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. The way he spoke it sounded like he had been in school for a lot longer than most students. She was a senior herself, at seventeen, but she had a small hunch that he was a bit older than she was. "And school...school is just...school." she struggled with how to describe it, but she had a feeling most people would know what she meant anyway. She didn't exactly mind school, but she had no idea what she wanted to do for a job which made the whole thing seem so pointless at this point, when everyone was going into study their chosen trades. She was afraid of the same thing happening to her that seemed to have happened to Jaymis. "So you wasted quite a bit of time there? But at least you got a good deal now, huh?" she asked, her background allowing for a spark of curiosity to happen with the way he worded his father's death and the inheritance. It was one that she actually kept to herself this time though. She shook her head quickly instead when he mentioned being able to get her into meet the gamemakers. "No thank you. I don't really want to bother them. I am sure they are quite busy and it really wouldn't do any of us any good anyway." she said, trying to play it off that there was simply no reason to meet with them. Really that would be much too intimidating, even for her. They couldn't help her at all and really she would just get herself into some sort of trouble with them. "I am happy with my new friend." she said, smiling a bit at him. "It turned out not to be as glamorous as one would think having a relationship with her would be." Tinsley finished for him in a bit of a nicer way than what he was probably thinking and what had first come to her mind when she said it. "And hey, why would I tell? They would mark up that pretty face you got there. Who would want that?" she asked. She also had a feeling that Jaymis wouldn't look nearly as cute dead, but she was at least avoiding the likely idea that they would murder him for saying such things about Snow's precious granddaughter. She frowned a bit when he questioned her situation was though, shaking her head at first as she contemplated whether to tell him and if she did, how exactly to say it without giving it away. She looked back up at him with such pain in her eyes, pain she didn't mean to show, but was simply just there. "Long story short...I fell in love with my best friend and he led me on and didn't actually have any intentions of ever being more than just friends with me." she said, shaking her head a bit. "I would do whatever it took to get to him and see him, but when I finally got to him he was in the arms of another. After he left me with the words "stay single for me" just hours before." she took a breath and simply shrugged. "Relationships just suck, but it doesn't matter. I don't think I will be seeing him again anyway." she added. "But enough about that..." Talking about it was more painful than she had expected it to be and she wasn't even the type to open up like that. Here she was blabbing it all to a stranger. Though he was a stranger who had just shared quite a bit more than she would have expected as well. Tinsley allowed the small, but existent and genuine smile to cross her lips once more as Jaymis spoke a tiny bit about a place he had in mind. It sounded like everything that she needed right now and she had a strong feeling he needed it just as badly. "It sounds nice. Fun...relaxing...I am down for that." she said with a nod, walking along side him once they were out of the building. "I think we both need a little break from things, don't you?" she asked, looking to him with a grin. "Tell me more about this place. What makes it as fun and nice as you claim?" she asked, curious and wanting to talk about something that didn't make her feel awful.

"So it does... guess we have a lot in common there. I'm sure we both have failed plans and stories to go with them. Life has a mind of it's own and it just doesn't like to agree with me. I prefer to look at it as there are bigger and better things for me than I planned for. The small sacrifices can lead to a much more... interesting result." So far it had been true anyways, and the way Jaymis looked at her she was one of those more interesting things he had run into. Had he become a Gamemaker he would be sitting in that room downing alcohol to relieve the boredom of watching children attempting to use weapons they'd never touched before. They tried to impress, but out of today he really wasn't impressed at all. And this supposed Capitol girl, who didn't act like a brat or like beauty products had eaten her brain, was totally more interesting than those things. She didn't fit, and rather than disturbing or pushing him away like it would to most Capitolites, it was the fact that she didn't fit the normal that caught his interest. "There are a lot of people who really need to figure that out. If we go outside together Fara has to make sure I look just perfect not a thing out of place, for fear I look ridiculous and ruin her image in the process. It's annoying. Good to see I'm not the only one." Jaymis rolled his eyes at that.
The grin only widened as she asked. He wasn't sure if that meant she thought he was much older than high school, or had thought he was younger, but he was amused to be asked. "Well. Most do mind but no use sweating the small things like a question. I couldn't imagine how stressed I'd be my whole life if I did." He smirked and crossed his arms though, watching her. "But I like a bit of fun. So before I tell you, I want to know what your guess is. You won't offend me I promise." He looked with a wide grin, purely curious and wanting to have a bit of fun too. He wasn't the simple type. Age was a difficult thing, and most people in the Capitol had so much done to them that it really was hard to tell just how old someone was. Most adults didn't look their age around here, though many were overdone. And saying he'd been in school too long left a couple interpretations he was sure. School was just one of those things... he understood it was hard to really say but he figured it didn't have to be explained. They both knew. "Oh yes. I got a good deal. But it wasn't a waste at the time. I went to a program for something I was just sure I was going to do. And it does help for what I'm doing, somewhat..." He shrugged at that. He wasn't ready to explain his inheritance too far. And if she didn't know what he did, then he wasn't telling her. Fara only kept him around for his title and status, he wasn't about to let that decide another relationship of any kind if it didn't have to.
Jaymis nodded in accepting her answer about the Gamemakers. They were busy, and he didn't want to go back and talk to them today. He had just about enough of Crane's odd behavior for the day. He was happy to hear the last part and gave a grinning and silly little bow sort of thing. "And I am happy to be such a friend." He said and stood up straight again. He had grown up to be silly despite his family's wishes and that was just who he was. At least he could be serious sometimes though. He wasn't all goofy either. "Yeah. The polite people would put it that way." Jaymis nodded in a bit of agreement. He could think of many other things, and names, that he could call her which would get him into some serious trouble if he said them out loud. She just happened to find the more polite way to put it than he would. "And I thank you for wanting to preserve my pretty face. But to answer your question, anyone who works for the President at that point would." He simply shrugged it off though.
He was quiet as he listened to her story, walking fairly slow for his usual. And he truly listened, not the half listening to make her feel important like he did with many Capitolites. Or his other standard listen to pick out ammunition to use against someone in the future. He glanced over, frowning and with a concerned and almost offended look in his blue eyes. Offended on her behalf as he listened to her story. Shaking his head the young man looked down. "Wow. I am so sorry to hear that. Must have really been a real ass deep down to pull that move." He said and looked to her. "But my beautiful friend, it appears he doesn't understand what he just gave up. I say, it's his loss." He said a bit sternly, though was willing to drop it as soon as she said the conversation was enough. Many Capitolites would have pushed though, but he didn't bother to be like the rest.
It only took her smile returning to bring his back as well. He gave a bit of a nod to her and looked back down the street. Fun. Exciting. Maybe a bit loud but she didn't sound like the type to be bothered by that at all. At least he hoped not. It was safe though. He wouldn't bring her somewhere so crazy it could be dangerous. He offered a slight shrug in response to her question, considering how to explain where they were going. "Breaks from the crazy are nice. Even if it is just for the night before I have to go work again." He finally commented on the first part, giving himself an extra few seconds. "It's a bit of a party. Some say childish, or loud. It's not the place for classy functions or dates with the President's Granddaughter but it is still nice. It's not like a bad place.... but there is more to do than just sit and eat and gossip. Games to play, you can do betting there too I've made a pretty couple dollars off of that but that's not the fun fun part, oh I've heard them have nights were they let people go up and sing. It's like... you know kids get those restaurants with ton of stuff to do for birthday parties? Kind of like that but for us who are a bit too old for those. It's totally fun, and well... you don't have to be all grown up and stuffy." He playfully adjusted his shirt collar and gave an exaggeratedly serious look on his face, chin raised in a mocking gesture toward the 'sophisticated' crowds. "Having fun is like... expected." words// 1194 tags// Tinsley Berylnotes//

Tinsley nodded. "They can be much more interesting for sure." she said quietly, her mind going to the little life growing inside of her. The little life that hadn't been planned, but that she was now responsible for and even a little excited about. Motherhood was a plan that had been made for her, but it was one she was looking forward to. It gave her a real purpose. It gave her someone to love and who she hoped would love her back. She understood what Jaymis meant in so many ways and it made her feel close to him despite the fact that really they were both still strangers to one another. She looked to Jaymis with a curious look though. "I am aware that you can't exactly dump Fara Snow without all sorts of consequences, but have you thought about trying to get her to break up with you?" she asked curiously. "Make yourself undesirable while making another more desirable?" she suggested. "I am sure that most guys in the Capitol would love to get the chance to date her." she added. It was true, but it was only true because most guys seemed to only be interested in looks and status. Fara's horrid personality and the dangers weren't thought about until they were already stuck. It seemed that was what had happened to poor Jaymis. Of course he had to go and make the whole thing more complicated than it needed to be. "What if I am not actually curious enough to bother playing your little guessing game first?" she asked curiously with a bit of a smirk as she crossed her own arms in an almost mocking way. The thing was, she was curious enough to play his game. Him making her guess first only made her that much more interested, but she wasn't exactly the best at guessing other people's ages. "Well..." she looked him over thoughtfully for a moment before you continued. "You graduated already and you said you were in school for longer than you had hoped. So you must be older than me, more than a year, but not too much more than that. Generally you can't be in school past twenty-two years of age." she thought allowed, looking him over once more. "My guess would be twenty or twenty one." she decided after a moment, curious if she was close. She smiled a bit though. "I am glad it still worked out for you in that case. I honestly have no idea where I am going for the future, so right now school is beginning to feel like quite the waste of my time." she said quietly. "I don't know though. Maybe it will be useful." she shrugged at that. She didn't know where life was taking her, but she did know that there was no way that she would be able to support a baby on her own and would need some sort of job to support the two of them. Getting rid of the child wasn't an option either, even if it was what her cousin seemed to want her to do and what her father's suggestion would be. Her father would want it done in a much worse and much more secret way. She'd rather be kicked out of the family than go through with that. They weren't people she wanted to associate with anyway. She was starting her own family. A better one. "Do you like your job then?" she asked, curious. He seemed more happy about that then he did his relationship with Fara anyway. Tinsley giggled at his little bow, grabbing the sides of her dress as she gave a bit of a curtsy back to him to join in the silly little gesture. "Guess you will just have to be extra careful not to to get it hurt then because that is a lot of very powerful people that would be after you." she said, shaking her head a bit at that. She took a breath though. "He was always an ass. I knew he was an ass, but he was still my best friend and I was still dumb enough to fall for him. The whole situation was just complicated." she mumbled, looking down at her feet as she walked with him. Ves had been her best friend and he could be sweet to her. He had been the one who was always there for her when she needed to vent or just needed someone to talk to. He was there to cheer her up. He made her feel amazing when he was with her. It wasn't hard to fall for the guy. It was just that he had no intentions of ever committing to just one person. He could make everyone feel like they were his entire world. She did give a small nod though. "Yeah...guess it was his loss." she whispered, but it was still her loss too. It wasn't easy losing the one person she thought she could count on. Who she had loved. She did manage a bit of a grin, her eyes lighting up at that mention of singing, but she didn't let on right away that it was something she was incredibly interested in. "That place sounds amazing and like exactly what I need right now." she said happily. She didn't want some stuffy, quiet place that would make her feel like she had to be perfect. It would be more stressful than helpful, but this place sounded like a great place to just be her. To just be Tinsley and to have fun without worrying about what anyone else thought. "Do you ever participate in the singing?" she asked curiously with a bit of a smirk. If he didn't she hoped that she could convince him to do it with her once they got there. It sounded great. "Is this place far from here?" she added the last question very eagerly.

Jaymis really had no idea just how true that was for her. Or just how much he was really connecting to her in that. He was looking down though as the comment of Fara stuck around. He didn't want to go too far with that. He really didn't want to get into trouble. He was worried that she would somehow get to hear anything that had her name in it. Even if Tinsley wouldn't share the information herself. People just seemed to know things sometimes. But before he could ask her to just drop it she kept going with a suggestion he hadn't really thought too much on. Not as much as he probably should have, it was the real solution. He looked up again and smirked slightly. "I uh... I haven't thought too much about it. I mean it came across my mind sure, but I don't really have something to look forward to not being with her for. I mean, unless I can get her to leave me without making Snow mad at me." His look said he was interested though as he watched Tinsley. He had planned out his father's death, he was sure he could plan something Fara didn't like. But what...? He looked to her and shrugged. "That sounds all well and good. But... what could make me undesirable for her without making myself look horrible either? If she leaves me, the president wouldn't hate me for it. There wouldn't be a reason for them to be bitter at least." He stopped, deep in thought about it. He smiled brighter. "If I can manage to do that... you're a genius!" He smirked widely at that.
With a small pout he shrugged at her question. "If you're not curious enough to play the game, then I guess you don't get to know." He said plainly and then started walking again. He really wouldn't tell her if she wouldn't play along, he was just that kind of person. Though he would have been extremely disappointed had she not actually made a guess. Turning his blue eyes back to her, he smiled in amusement as she worked through her guess out loud. He was curious at what answer she would finally arrive too. It only grew further as she guessed right for him, but he caught himself. His look turned straight and he turned his gaze toward the sky as he considered telling her she was right, or letting her think a little longer that she could be wrong. Eventually he settled and grinned. "Twenty exactly, as of December." He said with a quick nod.
"The future is... well it's hard to predict. We already decided plans don't work out. But I'm sure there is something useful you can find in it." Jaymis at least tried to be positive. It didn't quite work, he hated school. A lot. He was sure that not many disliked it more than he did. Maybe she did. He smirked a bit, not knowing just what she was thinking behind that. He just knew that she was quiet and he wasn't going to draw out the school conversation. He looked up, a smile across his face. "I do like my job. Kind of, mostly. Do you know what I do?" He asked, a curious look across his face. He was sure most around here had heard of him when things got shaken up. It was just as much a government title as it was an actual company of it's own. He did smile though. "I wanted to be a Gamemaker but... I think this is better in the long run. That seems like it would get boring quickly." He added.
With a grin he gave an exaggerated gesture to keep walking, smiling to her. "My face is important, I'll be careful." He set his hand on his face for a moment before he started walking again. He shook his head a bit. "Well, I just met you, but you deserve better than that. Maybe he's doing you a favor finding someone else. You aren't dumb though, a lot of people are and have been in your situation. I mean, I fell for someone who couldn't care less about me except for my work status. You just... It's hard but think about the opportunities you can have now. He didn't deserve you." He gave a slight encouraging smile toward her, reaching and setting his hand on hers. He had always been taught some class toward the ladies. Some politeness. And the Capitol people were knwon for being touchy, close types. Personal space wasn't as huge of an issue. But he could tell she wasn't really happy, and wouldn't be, and he could understand too. "You seem too sweet to be with an ass."
There was relief when her look brightened up again, and his smile grew once more. He was glad he'd been able to guess, he wasn't sure if she wanted that relaxed of a place or not. It had been a guess that he was only partly sure she would like. Luckily for him he didn't have to find himself an option two. She agreed with his first choice and that made him just that much more excited. "Me? Singing. Well no. I haven't done any of that." He wasn't sure if he could sing well, though he wasn't the type to get shy and nervous either. He was up for just about any challenge really. He looked back to her and shrugged some. He smirked and tried not to laugh at her eagerness. He motioned to turn right at the corner. "Just around the corner, not far at all. It's a big deal some days. I've even seen some gamemakers here, but today it shouldn't be too crowded." He assured her. words// 971 tags: Tinsley Berylnotes:

Tinsley listened to him very carefully as he worked through the idea himself and seemed to like the idea of it. She wasn't quite sure how to make it work just yet, but she knew how it had to be done. She knew that they would need to be careful so that Snow didn't come after him for breaking his granddaughter's heart or for being an idiot. There were ways to do that though and he seemed to think there was too. A bit of a grin stretched across her face. "I am a genius, aren't I?" she asked with a grin. "And honestly it shouldn't be terribly difficult to do. You just have to find another handsome guy with a high status. I can guarantee that most guys will think similarly to how you did and happily take her off your hands just because she is pretty and the president's precious granddaughter." she said, rolling her eyes slightly as she put it that way. Any other time she would never use those words to describe her. "We can talk more at lunch. Surely we can come up with something that will work." she said confidently.
She watched him eagerly though as he seemed to be contemplating whether or not he was going to tell her what his age was even after she had played along with his little game. Normally she wouldn't care so much, but her curiosity toward him in general and the game he turned it into made her really want to know if she had managed to get it right or not. Finally he spilled the answer and she smirked, crossing her arms over her cheek. "See? I really am a genius." she giggled a bit and shrugged. "Those were some pretty awesome guessing skills I just showed there. Wouldn't you say?" she asked innocently, nudging him a bit playfully before she shook her head, the smile fading slightly again.
"I kind of have a better idea of the direction my future is heading toward now than I did a couple of months ago, but...I don't know. I am just nervous. What if there isn't anything out there for me?" Tinsley asked quietly, not giving away any details though. He didn't needed to know about the baby. He didn't need to know about her worries about having a job to support the child. People in the Capitol didn't need to worry about such things and as far as he knew, she was a Capitolite just like him. She couldn't help, but feel a sinking in the pit of her stomach when she thought about it though. Sure she was only from District One, but even they had their differences. "I...no I don't know what you actually do." she said, not sure if she should and if it would tip him off or not that she wasn't from around here if she didn't know. How important of a person was she dealing with? She didn't make a comment on being a gamemaker though. She didn't want to say the wrong thing, but honestly she was no better than those people who sat behind a screen planning people's deaths.
It's hard but think about the opportunities you can have now. He didn't deserve you. She nodded slowly at that and let out a soft sigh. "I know...I know." she tried to gather her thoughts on the subject, but the more they spoke of it, the more she thought about it, the worse she felt. She blinked back tears and just shook her head a bit. "I am not sure what opportunities I have now. He didn't deserve me...no, but I don't know if I really deserve anyone else either." she said quietly. She couldn't help, but think about how alone she would be at home now. She didn't have her best friend anymore. It was going to be so hard to deal with. The feeling of his hand touching her own sent a shiver through her body. It was such a sweet and gentle touch. She didn't move her hand away, but she did look up to Jaymis for a moment with a loving look in her eyes until she pulled herself back together and looked away. "You're too sweet to be with such an ass as well." she commented. It went both ways. Jaymis deserved better than Fara. She was sure of it.
Tinsley turned the corner with him. She was quiet at first, even after he spoke before she looked up to him again. "Would you ever consider singing? I would do it with you." she said with a tiny smile, trying to bring the fun back into the whole thing. "It would be so much fun and you know it would be." she added with a playfully pleading look as she grabbed onto his arm gently, hanging onto him like a begging child. She was glad that it wouldn't be terribly crowded today. She didn't mind crowds really, but today she just didn't feel like dealing with a ton of people.
